Goat breeding Deutsch

Concrete plans
  • Consulting in stable building
  • Optimized pasture management
  • Import of Swiss goat sperm
  • Training in artifical insemnation
  • Import of live stock (goats)
  • Tracking of breeding success
These measures are participating in a optimized breeding of live stock and an increased supply of protein for the population. Today, 95% of the kiddy goats survive the first winter. Earlier it was only 65%. A healthy goat population is an important part in the strategy of fighting against hunger and malnurishment.

Dr. med. vet. Peter Summermatter is teaching and giving pratical training in getting fresh goat sperm, deepfreezing it and artifical insemnation (September 2000). This training will be continued this year.
