This APC is not very far from Pyongyang, as Unzong and Kubin. And as those two other APC's for food production and delivery, Hangsu sends part of the yoghurt and cheese to the markets in the capital. This location was supported with a small dairy and a laboratory for the multiplication of lactose bacteria. In 2003 and 2004 local staff was trained in production of yoghurt and various cheese type production.
 
In March 2007 the first wind turbine (300 Watt) was installed. This farm is also the field location for the wind project.
